Eileen’s Chocolate Coconut Superfood Protein Smoothie

Okay, this is it!  My most requested, most loved, best shake recipe.  It is so delicious and sooo good for you.  It will give you energy, make your feel great and is so so delicious.  Try it and please leave me a comment.  You will love it!

This is for one shake.  This shake is a meal.

In a good blender:

1/2 cup fresh coconut milk (you can use almond milk) – see video on how to make almond milk.
It is so easy to make coconut milk once you know how.  It is worth the effort.

1 heaping teaspoon Cacao (raw unprocessed cocoa)

1 tablespoon goji berries (protein)
1/2 tsp supergreens (I like Green Vibrance)
1/2  to 1 scoop egg white protein powder
1 heaping teaspoon coconut butter (not the kind you put on your skin)- Maranatha makes a good one.  You can find it at most health food stores1 heaping

1 teaspoon agave nectar if desired
1/3 banana
1/2 teaspoon Maca (if desired)

Process all ingredients until smooth (about 30 seconds)

Add 4-6 ice cubes depending on the size and process until nice and smooth.  Serve immediately.

I can’t comment on the taste – I just read this and have not tried it yet. But I can taste it in my mind and it sounds excellent. We substitute one shake a day for a meal and will try this one very soon.

I can’t believe how good this tastes. And I can’t believe how much energy I have after drinking it. It doesn’t look like a large drink, but it really stays with me a long time. I don’t get hungry very soon after drinking it.
I was so excited about it, I made one for my friend to try. He is a scientific type personality and does a lot of reading to keep up with “health foods”. He was amazed by the ingredients and after tasting it he said it was the best tasting healthy drink he’d ever experienced. So cool!
Thanks for sharing your information and creativity!

i have started making my own almond milk and using it for this shake. I love the taste and enjoy it more knowing the healthy things I’m feeding my body with. I have replaced my morning coffee stop with this shake as it is full of energy! Thanks for sharing!

I purchased a Vitamix yesterday. Then I got all the ingredients to make this for my breakfast this morning! It was the maiden voyage for the Vitamix. It’s delicious, healthy, and very satisfying! Thanks Eileen.
